The Choral
Set in a northern village during the first world war, the choral society becomes a focus that brings the village community together as it seeks to redress the loss of young men to the war effort. Tensions, relationships and hopes are raised, and challenged, through humour and the reality of living in war time. Scripted by renowned playwright Alan Bennett and starring Ralph Fiennes as the reluctant new choirmaster with a vision this is an inspiring and insightful film about community.
